Our intimate and tranquil home offers comfortable boutique accommodations with four spacious bedrooms with ensuites that all open out on to verandas or courtyards. Built in the late 1800s, the lodge features large open fires, a billiard room, a dining and a drawing room, a swimming pool and a private hot tub and is surrounded by mature historic trees, overlooking lush farm and grazing land.
Greenhill is available for bus tours, business events and weddings.
Meet your hosts
Charlotte and Steve initially owned a farm in Central Hawke’s Bay, which they sold to buy a semi-rural property in Waipawa.
“We never imagined buying Greenhill Lodge back in 2020. Usually we’d go for a more modern home with a few pictures on the wall, we’ve broken every rule in the book, but we’d never change it for the world.” Our beautiful Bed and Breakfast, with sweeping views of the surrounding Maraekakaho area, offers privacy, space and luxury without fuss, while being close to everywhere.
